MW5: The Clans DLC 1 Released
MW5: The Clan’s first DLC, Trails of War, brings player versus player combat, a horde mode, and new mech variants to the game.
Just under six weeks after Mechwarrior 5: The Clans has been released, it’s first DLC, Trials of War, comes out today. It seems to be a mostly multiplayer add on to the original game, bringing player vs. player combat, a horde mode, and a few new mech variants.
Seems like a quick turnaround for me, but hey, what do I know? Normally about $20, it’s discounted to $16 for the moment. If you’re really into multi-player, it could be fun. Personally, I’ll probably wait a few years until there’s a collection of DLC to pick up. But then again, I’m old and losing my free time, but very patient.
Update (2025): The DLC is now free! Great news for anyone who’s jumped into The Clans and thanks to Piranha for making this available!
