Overview

Mercenaries is a prequel to Mechwarrior 2.

Story

Instead of fighting for glory or honor, you fight for something more worthwhile: money. As a mercenary, you pledge allegiance to whoever will hand over the most money and bow only to the might C-bill. Battling throughout the Inner Sphere while trying to earn a boatload of cash for an early retirement, mysterious invaders appear out of the sky. Retirement will have to wait.
